Water Treatment Assets
The Company has a 50.0% interest in certain water treatment assets consisting of:

A Multiflo Trio Water Softening Unit made by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies.

A Chemical Mixing Unit with sophisticated electronic control and metering units also by Veolia.

A centrifuge and scroll drive system made by Viscotherm AG.
Veolia and Viscotherm are both world leaders in their respective fields. These assets have several high value applications in municipal, industrial and oilfield water treatment programs. Short term the Company expects to generate rental income from certain of the assets, longer term the Company believes that these systems can generate significantly higher income and form the backbone of a water treatment business unit with substantial value potential.
MULTIFLOTM is a premier softening process developed and patented exclusively by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS). The MULTIFLOTM technology is a compact process incorporating chemical precipitation with sludge thickening, producing a highly concentrated sludge that can be easily dewatered. The addition of chemicals, controlled sludge recirculation, and optimized hydraulics using TURBOMIXTM technology enhances the formation of crystalline compounds that rapidly settle in a lamella clarifier. This results in a flexible, robust process whose footprint is 10 – 20 times less than that of a conventional precipitation softening system.
