Robert brings one of the most diverse backgrounds to our team which adds business experience and out of the box thinking. He began as a radio announcer, a Humor Writer and Editor for Hallmark Cards, and owned businesses in auto sales and repair. In the late 1990’s he studied and became an options trader. His success led to becoming a Proprietary Trader for multiple Brokerage Firms and later running his own Hedge Fund.

After selling his interest in his trading operation he ventured into real estate development, and even owned a boat franchise. He then started working with a company in SE Kansas helping to raise money in oil drilling partnerships, and eventually went out on his own. Since the late 2000’s he has also helped startups connect with management and financial sources, and is Co-Founder of a fast growing functional beverage company.

However, he never abandoned his oil interests and over the last few years has been instrumental in building the initial stages of a soon to be public company, as well as other individual drilling campaigns. He co-founded TN Black Gold to take advantage of unique spin off projects and one-off opportunities in the oil realm.
